Village Beach Club sits directly on the oceanfront in Nags Head, with private beach access from the pool deck. Our ceremony fee includes the oceanfront ceremony setup, so you can focus on the vows while our team handles chairs, aisle and timing.

Because the reception spaces are steps from the sand, your guests never need a shuttle or a second venue. Cocktail hour can move straight to the Poolside Veranda or Oceanfront Terrace while the wedding party takes golden-hour photos on the beach.

How a Beach Ceremony Comes Together

Choose your date

Share your date and guest count. Friday–Sunday and Monday–Thursday rates differ, so a weekday ceremony can stretch the budget.

Bring your planner

A wedding planner is required. Your planner and your dedicated VBC Event Manager coordinate timing, vendors and setup.

Set the scene

We set the chairs and the ceremony site on the sand. If the wind picks up or rain moves in, we move the ceremony up to the veranda or indoors. You can add ceremony musicians, welcome signage or dΓ©cor.

Celebrate steps away

Walk up from the beach to cocktails on the veranda and dinner in Gather Event Hall, all at one venue.

Can we have our wedding ceremony on the beach at Village Beach Club?

Yes. Village Beach Club is an oceanfront venue in Nags Head with private beach access, and the ceremony fee includes an oceanfront ceremony setup.

How much is a beach wedding ceremony?

For celebrations under 50 guests the ceremony fee is $1,000 plus $15 per chair. For over 50 guests it is $2,000 plus $15 per chair. Both include oceanfront ceremony setup.

Where is the reception after a beach ceremony?

Steps away. Receptions take place in Gather Event Hall and on the Poolside Veranda, with the Oceanfront Terrace and Ocean View Room & Bar available depending on your package.
