Holiday Parties by the Ocean in Nags Head

Nags Head is quiet in December. The summer crowds are gone, the beach is empty, and we have time to set the room up properly for your group. Guests walk in to string lights and an ocean view, dinner is cooked on site by the Gather kitchen, and the bar runs on a budget you set.

That works for an office party of 30, a family Christmas dinner of 60 or a New Year's Eve party of 150. One event manager handles it from the first email to the last song.

Holiday Party Questions, Answered

When should we book our holiday party?

As early as you can. Friday and Saturday nights in early and mid December are the first dates to go. Send your preferred date through our holiday party inquiry form and we will confirm availability.

How many guests can Village Beach Club hold for a holiday party?

Gather Event Hall seats up to 164 guests with an indoor dance floor. The Ocean View Room & Bar and private dining options suit smaller groups, and you can rent the entire club for the largest parties.

How much does a holiday party cost?

Dining experiences start at $49 per guest for brunch, $64 for a buffet, $78 for a plated dinner and $86 for social stations. Taxes, a 22% service fee, your bar package and the venue fee for your space are added. Your quote will show every line.

Can we host a holiday party on a weekday?

Yes. Weekday lunches, happy hours and dinners are a great way to get a December date, and they are popular with offices that want to celebrate during the work week.

Do you offer a hosted bar?

Yes. Our hosted consumption bar lets you set a spending limit before the party. You only pay for drinks served, and we let your contact know when you reach 75% of the limit.

Can we bring our own decorations or vendors?

Yes. Outside vendors must be licensed and insured, and outside catering is welcome from our approved vendor list. We can also arrange lighting, décor, music and signage for you.

Do you host New Year’s Eve parties?

We host private New Year’s Eve celebrations for groups. Ask about availability early, since there is only one December 31st each year.

Is there a children’s menu for family holiday parties?

Yes. The children’s menu is $22 per child (ages 2–12) with chicken fingers, burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese or mac & cheese, plus fries or a fruit cup and a drink.
