The Last Swell OBX Surf Film, Art & Music Festival has a new date. The festival is rescheduled to Sunday, May 2, 2027, from noon to 8pm at Village Beach Club in Nags Head.
Why the new date
The festival now kicks off the 2027 season. The club opens for members on Saturday, May 1, and the next day the whole community is invited back for surf films, live music, art and local makers.

The festival is free and open to the public. Lineup and schedule details will be confirmed closer to the date.
Make it a weekend
Members can enjoy Opening Day on May 1 and the festival on May 2. Returning members who renew by December 31, 2026 save $500 on 2027 memberships. Renew for 2027.
